Toronto's newest and most innovative sports facility is Monarch Park Stadium. This $5 million+ stadium is conveniently located in Toronto's east end one block south of Coxwell subway station on the Bloor/Danforth Line. The stadium is located directly behind Monarch Park Collegiate on Parkmount Road. Monarch Park Stadium offers users a state-of-the-art athletic facility that provides the "best of the best" including: an artificial turf field by Field Turf, a Beynon BSS1000 running track surface, Musco Sports Lights and a Farley Group winter dome. Monarch Park Stadium also includes a brand new 5,500 sq. ft. clubhouse with contemporary amenities including: full service washrooms, change rooms, showers and lockers.


The new state-of-the-art artificial Field Turf includes a full size 11 v 11 soccer field and also acts as a full NFL size football field. The field includes four mini-soccer fields (measuring approx. 100 feet x 220 feet each). This makes Monarch Park Stadium ideal for all field sports including: soccer, ultimate frisbee, football, rugby, field hockey, baseball and Aussie rules football.
MPS also provides equipment for soccer including permanent aluminum soccer nets for 11 v 11, 9 v 9, 7 v 7 and 5 v 5. We also have other sports equipment including lacrosse nets, baseballs and Frisbees.
Monarch Park Stadium has the only divider net system in the City of Toronto that allows user groups to share the field with various teams/clubs and play various games at the same time. Monarch Park Stadium is also the only turf fields in the city lined for 9 v 9 games.


Monarch Park Stadium track is the longest indoor track in the City of Toronto at 370.67 metres. The track is a four-lane Beynon track situated around the field allowing MPS users to be the only ones in the City of Toronto able to warm up and cool down on a high end track before and after field time. Parents also have the ability to run and train during their child's practice.
Including a blue 13 mm polyurethane (BSS 1000) surface, this is the same track used by many US Division I Universities. The track is ideal for runners and walkers who require a soft and comfortable surface for training during the winter or summer months. MPS track is also marked for many distances (60m, 100m, 150m, 200m, 400m, 600m, 800m, 1,000m, 1,500m, 1 mile, 2,000m, 3,000m, 5,000m, 10,000m). See Facility Layout

Fitness Training Studio

Monarch Park Stadium is also equipped with a state of the art Fitness Training Studio for trainers and coaches to train their athletes. The studio features squat racks, dumbbells and kettle bells, TRX equipment, jumping blocks, barbells and plates and much more. The north wall is lined with mirrors making the space ideal for training. The Fitness Studio can be used for one-on-one training, group training or team training.


MPS Clubhouse is complete! Field Lighting

Monarch Park Stadium is open late and lit with the best sports lighting systems available. Musco Sports Lighting poles provide over 50 foot candles of light on the playing surface. The normal light level on most school and City of Toronto facilities is 25-30 foot candles.

Winter Dome

The full field and track are covered from November to April allowing users to training through the cold winter months. One of only two indoor tracks in Toronto, Monarch Park Stadium track is equipped for all levels of athletes to train during the cold and icy winter. The fields are also available during the winter months with state-of-the-art lightning unlike any sports dome in Toronto.
